Like their designs, Holst+Lee’s story is equally unique and organic. As explained in a recent chat with Shopbop, Natalie Holst and Rochelle Lee, the duo behind the brand, met in NYC as transplants from the South. They became fast friends and started making jewelry for themselves after being unable to find what they were looking for to complete their outfits.
Combining items collected over the years, the pair refashioned the objects into striking necklaces and bangles. It wasn’t long before their DIY project transformed into a lucrative jewelry business.
