If you haven’t already, you NEED to check out the newly launched online mag Domaine. The latest from the Who What Wear gals, their sister shelter site is beaming with inspiring decor, celebrity home tours, and DIY tips. This West Hollywood two bedroom, home to actress and designer Katie Nehra, is one of my faves. I’m having a bit of a color moment and am loving the pops of bright pink, turquoise, and red. Definitely worth a read!
Finds: Summer Sandal Roundup
I put ridiculous mileage on my sandals every summer and they pretty much end up destroyed as a result–so a new pair or two to start the season is definitely in order. Here are a few on my radar, including some pretty thrifty finds.
I’m obsessed with these peep toe flats. Just adorable. Schutz Angelica Sandal, $130.
These wear everywhere flats are a steal–I mean $45? Done. GC Shoes Arena Sandal, $45.
I tried these babies on in store and they’re super comfortable–plus, the mid-heel wedge adds needed height without sacrificing comfort! If between sizes, I would size down as they seemed to run a tad large. Sam Edelman Serena, $140.00 (last seen on sale for $99.50).
Gladiators with a little gilt, can’t go wrong… Dolce Vita Cyprus Gladiator $127 (on sale).
Really loving gold accents and these mini wedges are no exception. DV by Dolce Vits Apex, $69.00 (now on sale for $54.99).
These are just plain fun… Sol Sana Holly Sandal, $85.
At such a sweet price, these silver darlings are hard to pass up. Zara Silver Thong Sandals, $35.90.
A perfect neutral option in bone. DV by Dolce Vita Denny Sandals, $69.
You can’t go wrong with a simple gold gladiator, these fit the bill. Vince Camuto Ebi Sandal $65.50 (on sale).
Another great neutral by DV (bought these in nude last year and wore them to the ground–they’re great!). DV by Dolce Vita Archer Sandal, $69.00 (now $47.99).
Simple, sophisticated and fun. Love these metallic ankle strap wedges from J.Crew. Lillian Low Wedge, $198.00.
Loeffler Randall always delivers. These silver and woven strap sandals are one of my favorites. Loeffler Randall Dree Sandal, $175.00.
Have you seen the new Ancient Greek Sandals? They’re all really great and super high quality–worth the splurge. Ancient Greek Clio Sandal, $185.00.
Sale Alert: Rebecca Minkoff Skylar Mini Bag
Rebecca Minkoff’s Skylar Mini Cross Body Bag is now on sale for $148 (from $225)! No more excuses… this cross body companion is the perfect summer carryall, really.
Available in Green (my personal favorite), Natural, and Purple.

Coveting: A Pretty Peplum
With an ethnic print, neon hues, and a peplum, Anthropologie’s Daksha Stiched Top by Manish Aurora had me at hello. And, as styled via Atlantic-Pacific below, it looks equally fabulous with a full skirt as it does with skinny denim or trousers. Lady-like perfection!
Get the Look:
Daksha Stiched Top / Erin Fetherston Bell Skirt or DL1961 Denim Legging / Isaac Mizrahi Green Linen Pumps
Splurge or Save: Valentino Rock Stud Flats
I’ve been seriously obsessed with Valentino’s rock stud collection for quite a while (check them out in the T-strap version on Olivia Palermo here and here). Fortunately, as with most good things, knock offs have followed–and they’re pretty close comparables too!
Left: Valentino Rock Stud Flat $595 / Right: Forever 21 Studded Flat $24.80. The Forever 21 clone is also available in blush and nude, just like the original!
Design Crush: Angie Hranowsky
I’ve been a huge fan of Angie Hranowsky for quite a while. A master of relaxed contemporary interiors, the designer’s work has been popping up in shelter magazines galore, including this month’s issue of Lonny. Plus, she’s a Charleston local–which means she must be super cool!

Look of the Day: Mint + Stripes

In Search of: the Perfect Grey Paint
This is big… We’re finally ditching the blah dark taupe color that currently graces the walls of our apartment living room–I’ve complained about the dreary shade ever since moving in so it’s long overdue! We’ve decided to go with a neutral light grey (which incidentally happens to be the boyfriend’s favorite color, score!). I’ve used Sherwin Williams’ Repose Grey in the past and was really happy with it but, alas, I’m still searching for alternatives. Something not too blue, green or purple… a problem I’ve had in the past. Any recommendations?

Spluge or Save: Tibi v. Asos Skater Dress
Tibi Neoprene Dress $525 / Asos Skater Dress $83.13
Tibi’s 2013 Spring Collection featured a super cute take on the scuba skater dress but at a hefty price tag. Asos, on the other hand, has a strikingly similar version… At a fraction of the cost, the Asos version gets my vote–sorry Tibi!
